Automatic Hybridisation Instrument

The GeneTAC HybStation is the first automated system for the hybridization of microarrays. The unit automates all thermal and wash cycles for the hybridization of microarrays spotted on standard glass slides.

Development activities included:

• Electronic design of power converter, temperature measurement and control systems
• Embedded control software (TMS320F240)
• Mechanical design
